Storyline The Cure
Dexter, age 11, who has AIDS, and his next door neighbor Eric, a little older and much bigger, become best friends. Eric also becomes closer to Dexter's mother than to his own, who is neglectful and bigoted and violently forbids their friendship upon learning of it. Dexter and Erik start the journey to find "The Cure" they had read about in the local newspaper.Movie details

Travelled from UK to Budapest, to see the Cure again, adUK tickets sold out so quickly. Have seen the band lots of times in UK since the late 70's, and have to say they are still the world's best band.
The Cure's original line-up consisted of Robert Smith (vocals, guitars), Laurence "Lol" Tolhurst (drums) and Michael Dempsey (bass guitar). The band has continued through various line-ups; Smith is the group's only remaining original member.
The Cure are a rock band which formed in 1976 in Crawley, England, United Kingdom. The band originally consisted of Robert Smith (vocals, guitar), Porl Thompson (guitar), Michael Dempsey (bass) and Lol Tolhurst (drums), with the band's lineup overgoing several changes throughout the years and Smith remaining as the only constant member throughout the band's history.
